How are you? I hope all of you still healthy in this moment. So in this blog i want to tell you about Offering. It's about the meaning, use and formula. Also, i will give some examples of  offering. Alright, so let's go!

Offering

First of all, i will explain what is offering. Offering is an act of someone to offer something to other. You can use this sentence when you want to offer an item or service to another person. Usually this sentence is used with interrogative sentences like Could you, Would you, Have, Can i, Must i or May you.

Can can be used to express informal expressions while May and Must can be used in formal conversations. There is no difference in meaning between the verbs, only the difference lies in the level of politeness or politeness. May and Must are considered more polite to use in formal conversation.

There are some formulas that you can use for offering something!

1. Subject + Verb + That + Object to offer
2. Do you mind if I + Verb + Object / Adverb
3. Do you want me + to + Verb + Object / Adverb

Example :

1. How can I help you today?
2. May I help you Dad?
3. Would you like to play with me?
4. Are you looking for something?
5. Shall i help you?
6. Should i drive this car?
7. Have some drinks?

Example sentences accept and reject an offer :

1. Okay
2. Yes please
3. Thank you
4. Of course
5. That's great idea, thank you
6. No, thanks
7. I can handle it
8. No, i'm ok. Thanks
9. It's okay, thanks
